Sir Ivan and Bunny Mina at Castlestock - Photo by PatrickMcMullan.com
Unlike Las Vegas where what happens in Vegas, well, never gets repeated, what happens in the Hamptons gets reported everywhere case in point Sir Ivan’s Castlestock 2009 to benefit the Peaceman Foundation. Hundreds dropped by his fantastic castle, seriously a castle complete with a moat and drawbridge, for a night that, a few guests reported, could have been a scene at the Playboy Mansion. Over the top d├ęcor and outrageous costumes made for a night that will long be remembered. Spotted enjoying the frivolity were Bunny Mina, Sharon Bush, Dr. Howard Sobel, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps of “The Real Housewives of New York City,” actor and activist Donegal Fitzgerald, Social Life magazine's Justin Mitchell and Devorah Rose, Plum TV’s Nick Leighton, and scores more.

For more stately affairs, Anne Hearst McInerney and author Jay McInerney hosted the annual Best Buddies benefit at their Water Mill home with guest of honor, and New York Governor, David Paterson. Also in the western-themed mix were Kathy and Rick Hilton, Holiday Hayes, Jason Binn of Niche Media and Hamptons magazine, Ralph Lauren model and polo player Nacho Figueras with his wife Delfina Balquier, Amanda Hearst, Broadway producers Bonnie Comley and Stewart Lane, Princess Yasmin Aga Khan, Sarah Herbert-Galloway, Marty Richards, and Somers Farkas.

Hello entourage! Finally someone, in this case music and fashion mogul Russell Simmons, brought a full-fledged entourage to the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge at Blue Star Jets Field. Also in attendance and looking fabulous was Serena Altschul, far from her days as an MTV News reporter and now with CBS News, who watched the match side by side Ramona Singer and Bethenny Frankel of “The Real Housweives of New York City.”

The Blue Parrott in East Hampton is cultivating a fabulous flock so to speak as Tory Burch, Veronica Webb, hair guru Frederic Fekkai, leading man Alec Baldwin, Harvey Weinstein with designer wife Georgina Chapman, Larry Gagosian, Ron Perelman, and rock music legends Jon Bon Jovi and Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters all popped by for a Tex Mex nibble.
